Born and raised just south of Chicago, I had no idea photography would end up the force in my life that it has become. I started out as your average theatre kid (you can tell b/c of how I spell "theatre"). I was always a visually artistic kid too though. Through a very twisty-turny artists quest I ended up graduating class of 2012 from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Photography.
 

Along the way I made one great realization: What I love most about photography. The thing that drives my passion for it.

The memories.

I want to preserve the world. For myself and for everyone that shares it.

There's an Aaron Siskind quote that sums it up pretty well:

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
